• <br />• <br />• <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 06 -128 <br />AUTHORIZING A SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT <br />FOR A FAMILY PICNIC EVENT AT THE <br />AMERICAN LEGION <br />WHEREAS, American Legion, Post 566, has submitted an application for a <br />special event permit to allow for a family picnic event on August 19 & 20, 2006, in <br />conjunction with the Blue Heron Days festival; and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant has identified the following activities that will be a part <br />of this event: <br />Pig roast; corn feed; horseshoe tournament; dunk tank and music; <br />WHEREAS, all elements of the event will be conducted on the American Legion <br />property at 7731 Lake Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant has submitted plans to meet the City's requirements; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, proof of liability insurance for the City has been submitted by the <br />applicant; <br />Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved by The City Council of The City of Lino Lakes: <br />That the City Council authorizes the proper city staff to grant Special Event <br />Permit to American Legion, Post 566, to hold a family picnic event on their <br />property at 7731 Lake Drive. <br />Approved by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 14TH day of August, <br />2006. <br />ATTEST: <br />Julianne Bartell, City Clerk <br />John J.
