COUNCIL MINUTES <br />DRAFT <br />OCTOBER 23, 2006 <br />1 <br />2 Council Member O'Donnell moved to offer Terina Peterson the position of part-time Community <br />0 3 Service Officer, as presented. Council Member Carlson seconded the motion. Motion carried <br />4 unanimously. <br />5 <br />6 PUBLIC SAFETY DEPARTMENT REPORT, DAVE PECCHIA <br />7 <br />8 Authorize Execution of Centennial School District Agreement for Youth Resource Officer for <br />9 2006 -2007 School Year — Chief Pecchia stated the Lino Lakes Police Department is requesting that <br />10 the Lino Lakes City Council renew the Youth Resource Officer Service Agreement with the <br />11 Centennial School District for the 2006/2007 school year. <br />12 <br />13 Council Member Carlson moved to renew the Youth Resource Officer Service Agreement with the <br />14 Centennial School District, as presented. Council Member Stoltz seconded the motion. Motion <br />15 carried unanimously. <br />16 <br />17 Proclamation in Support of Recognizing October as Crime Prevention Month in the City of <br />18 Lino Lakes — Chief Pecchia stated staff is requesting that the City Council acknowledge the Crime <br />19 Prevention Month Proclamation in support of recognizing October as Crime Prevention month in the <br />20 City of Lino Lakes. <br />21 <br />22 Chief Pecchia reviewed crime prevention activities within the Police Department and read the <br />23 Proclamation. <br />24 <br />25 Council Member Reinert moved to approve the Crime Prevention Month Proclamation in support of <br />26 Crime Prevention Month, as presented. Council Member Carlson seconded the motion. Motion <br />27 carried unanimously. <br />28 <br />29 PUBLIC SERVICES DEPARTMENT REPORT, RICK DEGARDNER <br />S30 <br />31 There was no report from the Public Services Department. <br />32 <br />33 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT REPORT, MICHAEL GROCHALA <br />34 <br />35 Consideration of Resolution No. 06 -177, Amending PUD Final Plan for Lakewood Apartments <br />36 - Legacy at Woods Edge, Paul Bengtson — Associate Planner Bengtson stated on October 24, 2005 <br />37 the City Council approved Resolution No. 05 -161, which approved the PUD Final Plan for the <br />38 Lakewood Apartments. Lakewood Apartments is a mixed use building consisting of first floor <br />39 commercial with apartments also on a portion of the first floor, and the floors above. <br />40 <br />41 Associate Planner Bengtson advised Hartford Group Inc. has requested to make some changes to the <br />42 Lakewood Apartments project to address some issues that have come up while creating construction <br />43 documents for the project.
