Council Member Carlson seconded the 26 motion. Motion carried with Council Member Reinert abstaining. 27 28 Accepting Donation from Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 6583 to Defray Cost of Annual Safety 29 Camp, Julie Bartell — City Clerk Bartell advised the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 6583 had made a . 30 contribution to the Centennial Fire District to defray the cost of the annual Safety Camp. In 31 remaining consistent with past practice, staff's recommendation is for the Council to accept the 32 donation of charitable gambling proceeds from the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW Post 6583 in the 33 amount of $1,000 and authorize the issuance of a check in the amount of $1,000 to the Centennial 34 Fire District to be used for the annual Safety Camp. 35 36 Council Member Carlson moved to accept the donation of charitable gambling proceeds from the 37 Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 6583 in the amount of $1,000 and authorize the issuance of a check in 38 the amount of $1,000 to the Centennial Fire District to defray the cost of the annual Safety Camp, as 39 presented.
