• <br />• <br />2010 -2012 <br />Projects identified for the planning period 2009 -2011 include State Aid Street <br />reconstruction, annual Surface Water Management projects, street reconstruction and <br />utility infrastructure improvements. Projects will be evaluated in more detail in 2008 and <br />2009. Estimated improvement costs and proposed funding sources are included on the <br />Street and Utility Capital Improvement Program Summary spreadsheet. A general <br />overview of major projects is included with each year. <br />2010 <br />Overview: Improvements scheduled for 2009 include the annual street maintenance <br />and surface water management projects as well as trunk utility and roadway <br />improvements. Of significant note is the planned reconstruction of Holly Drive from <br />Holly Court to County Road J This project is dependent on the availability of Municipal <br />State Aid Funds and special assessment to benefiting property owners. Additionally, the <br />program includes the construction of a 1.5 million gallon ground storage facility to <br />supplement the City's two, 1 million gallon elevated water towers. <br />1. 2010 Surface Water Management Project <br />2. 2010 Street Sealcoat and Overlay Project <br />3. Of <br />significant note is the planned reconstruction of 12th Avenue from Birch Street to from <br />Holly Drive. This project is dependent on the availability of Municipal State Aid Funds <br />and special assessment to benefiting property owners. Additionally, the 2011 Street <br />Reconstruction Project is programmed. This project includes the reconstruction of streets <br />within the Shenandoah Area and LaMotte Addition residential areas.
