• <br />• <br />Records/ Evidence Technician <br />Page -2- <br />8. Maintains evidentiary chain of custody to ensure integrity in accordance with department <br />policy and state statute. <br />9. Processes forfeiture funds for disbursement at the state, county and city level. Completes <br />and forwards drug forfeiture funds report to the Office of the State Auditor. <br />10. Ensures that contraband property is destroyed 90 days after the final court disposition, <br />prepares and records unclaimed property to be sold at auction or destroyed. <br />11. Ensures the quality of data in the Records Management System (RMS) and transfers <br />records to the BCA. <br />12. Responsible for maintaining accurate information regarding the National Crime <br />Information Computer (NCIC) and Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) criminal <br />records. <br />13.
