b. Irrigating or watering of new landscaping, sod or seed within 28 days of installation. A permit for 28 Day New Landscaping, Sod or Seed watering will be required. c. Irrigating or watering from a source other than the City's water supply as stated in 401.16. Under this exception, the City may inspect the property to ensure compliance. Subdivision 4. Violation. No person shall cause water to be used in violation of the provisions of this section. The first violation shall result in a $25 citation, and a $50 subsequent citation for those individuals who repeat violations. Subdivision 4. Penalties. a. Failure to comply with restrictions or prohibitions imposed under this ordinance shall result in a citation for water service for each violation in an amount determined by resolution of the City Council, which will be added to the water bill for the property on which such violation occurs.
