KELLY <br />jkelly @ck- law.com <br />(651) 234-6213 <br />EDUCATION John received his B.S. degree from the University of St. Thomas <br />and his J.D. degree from the William Mitchell College of Law. <br />PRACTICE AREAS <br />EXPERIENCE <br />John has extensive transactional experience in real estate, <br />commercial and corporate law. He specializes in real estate law, <br />contract law, commercial finance law, real estate leasing (shopping <br />centers, office buildings) and general corporate matters. Since <br />joining Campbell Knutson, John has worked with many of the <br />firm's municipal clients in the areas relating to development <br />contracts, tax forfeit land acquisitions and sales, easement <br />acquisition and the sale of properties. In addition, John represents <br />several banks, developers and other corporate clients. <br />From 1965 to 1974, John was a solo practitioner in Burnsville, <br />Minnesota. From 1974 to 1994, he worked for ITT Real Estate <br />Services, a division of ITT Commercial Finance Corporation, as <br />Senior Associate General Counsel, Vice President and Assistant <br />Secretary. John negotiated, documented, and closed commercial <br />real estate loans, and prepared and negotiated contracts for the sale <br />of real estate and the lease for shopping centers and office <br />buildings. From 1994 to 1995, he was Of Counsel with the law <br />firm Leonard, O'Brien, Wilford, Spencer & Gale.
