Taking the "Open Houses" to the community (vs. opening City Hall doors and waiting for people to <br />arrive) by assigning City Leaders to staff bonfires at all high school football and homecoming <br />games with information in -hand. <br />11. A special- session of the City Council and Charter Commission debating the issue, moderated by a <br />respected community elder, and broadcast over local cable. <br />Timing: October 6 -10, 2008 <br />Hours: N/A <br />Estimate wNideo: $24,000 <br />Estimate w /out Video: $13,000 <br />Phase Five: Execution <br />With the heavy - lifting complete, we can execute against our plan, ensuring deadlines are met, budgets and <br />estimates honored, and the City is kept apprised of the progress of the communications. <br />Our goal will be to ensure that ALL citizens have an opportunity to receive the City's communications "seven <br />times in seven ways." We will strive to ensure there will be no doubt the residents of Lino Lakes understand <br />the benefits from amending the Charter. <br />Processes include: Execution of Plan, Efficient, Timely, Quick- Response <br />Deliverables include: Close monitoring of plan execution <br />Timing: October 13— November 4, 2008 <br />Hours: 40 <br />Estimate: $3,800 <br />Phase Six: Monitor <br />As we execute toward November 4, there will be questions, concerns, clarifications, and adjustments to the <br />education that is our objective. We will respond swiftly and effectively —all the while keeping our eyes on <br />the goal of clear, focused, insightful, effective, and engaging communications. <br />Processes include: Constant monitoring of the community and environment through daily checks with key <br />communicators, publications, community phone trees, and website. <br />Deliverables include: Weekly executive summary on findings and evolved insights. <br />Timing: October 10— November 4, 2008 <br />Hours: 7 <br />Estimate: $665 <br />
