Approval of Application to Conduct Excluded Bingo submitted <br />51 by Blue Heron PTO, for event on November 20, 2008 Approved <br />52 <br />53 FINANCE DEPARTMENT REPORT, AL ROLEK <br />54 There was no report from the Finance Department. <br />55 ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT REPORT, DAN TESCH <br />56 3A Tentative Offer of Employment for Recreation Supervisor — Administration Director <br />57 Tesch reported that staff has completed an interview and hiring process for the vacant position of <br />58 Recreation Supervisor and is now recommending that staff be authorized to make a conditional <br />59 offer of employment to Ms. Tanya Beekman. <br />60 Council Member O'Donnell moved to authorize a tentative offer of employment to Ms. Tanya <br />61 Beekman for the position of Recreation Supervisor. Council Member Gallup seconded the <br />62 motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. <br />63 PUBLIC SAFETY DEPARTMENT REPORT, DAVE PECCHIA <br />64 4A. Approval of Resolution No. 08-119 accepting a donation from Cecelia Woodrich to <br />65 the Lino Lakes Police Explorers — Police Chief Pecchia reported that the Police Department is <br />66 requesting authority to accept and thank Cecelia Woodrich for her generous donation of a Smith <br />67 & Wesson .357 Magnum revolver to the Lino Lakes Police Explorers. <br />68 <br />69 Council Member Reinert moved to approve Resolution No. 08 -119 as presented. Council <br />70 Member Stoltz seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. <br />71 PUBLIC SERVICES DEPARTMENT REPORT, RICK DEGARDNER <br />72 There was no report from the Public Services Department. <br />73 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT REPORT, MICHAEL GROCHALA <br />A74 Approval of Resolution No. 08 -113, Certifying Collection of Delinquent Weed Abatement <br />75 Charges to the County Auditor — Community Development Director Grochala explained that <br />76 staff is presenting delinquent weed abatement charges for certification to Anoka County for <br />77 collection with property taxes.
