Approval of Application to Conduct Excluded Bingo submitted 51 by Blue Heron PTO, for event on November 20, 2008 Approved 52 53 FINANCE DEPARTMENT REPORT, AL ROLEK 54 There was no report from the Finance Department. 55 ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT REPORT, DAN TESCH 56 3A Tentative Offer of Employment for Recreation Supervisor — Administration Director 57 Tesch reported that staff has completed an interview and hiring process for the vacant position of 58 Recreation Supervisor and is now recommending that staff be authorized to make a conditional 59 offer of employment to Ms. Tanya Beekman. 60 Council Member O'Donnell moved to authorize a tentative offer of employment to Ms. Tanya 61 Beekman for the position of Recreation Supervisor. Council Member Gallup seconded the 62 motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. 63 PUBLIC SAFETY DEPARTMENT REPORT, DAVE PECCHIA 64 4A. Approval of Resolution No. 08-119 accepting a donation from Cecelia Woodrich to 65 the Lino Lakes Police Explorers — Police Chief Pecchia reported that the Police Department is 66 requesting authority to accept and thank Cecelia Woodrich for her generous donation of a Smith 67 & Wesson .357 Magnum revolver to the Lino Lakes Police Explorers. 68 69 Council Member Reinert moved to approve Resolution No. 08 -119 as presented. Council 70 Member Stoltz seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. 71 PUBLIC SERVICES DEPARTMENT REPORT, RICK DEGARDNER 72 There was no report from the Public Services Department. 73 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT REPORT, MICHAEL GROCHALA A74 Approval of Resolution No. 08 -113, Certifying Collection of Delinquent Weed Abatement 75 Charges to the County Auditor — Community Development Director Grochala explained that 76 staff is presenting delinquent weed abatement charges for certification to Anoka County for 77 collection with property taxes.
