COUNCIL MINUTES February 9, 2009 DRAFT 135 Council Member Gallup moved to approve Resolution No. 09 -08 as presented. Council Member 136 Stoltz seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. 137 138 Council Member Stoltz moved to approve Resolution No. 09 -09 as presented. Council Member 139 O'Donnell seconded the motion. Consider Resolution No. 09 -10, Authorizing Execution of MnJDNR Community 142 Conservation Assistance Grant - Community Development Director Grochala announced that 143 the city has been selected to receive a Community Conservation Assistance Grant from the 144 Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. The grant award of $25,000 can be used to assist 145 with developing and updating city regulations to address environmental goals and must be 146 matched by the city with cash or in -kind services. The Community Development Department 147 would intend to utilize funds already budgeted for ordinance revision work for this match. Staff 148 requests authorization to execute a contract to receive these grant funds. 149 150 A council member commended staff for putting the city in a position to receive this grant money 151 especially during such difficult economic times. 152 153 Council Member Reinert moved to approve Resolution No. 09 -10 as presented.
