The mayor explained that the city charter doesn't allow city participation <br />without a referendum. <br />Another resident asked for confirmation that the Columbus residents are on board. City <br />Engineer Studenski stated that there is definitely support and the council there also supports the <br />project. <br />A council member confirmed that there was previous discussion about how the cost of the study <br />could be split to reflect the 4th Avenue split in interest. Engineer Studenski confirmed that that <br />concern is addressed in the report. <br />Council Member Reinert moved to approve Resolution No. 09-47 as presented. Council <br />Member O'Donnell seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br />There was no unfinished business. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />8A. Approval of June 22, 2009 City Council Meeting Minutes <br />Council Member Gallup moved to approve the June 22, 2009 City Council Meeting Minutes as <br />presented. Council Member O'Donnell seconded the motion. Motion carried. Council Member <br />Stoltz abstained from voting <br />8B. Approval of June 22, 2009 Council Work Session Minutes <br />Council Member Gallup moved to approve the June 22, 2009 Council Work Session Minutes as <br />presented. Council Member O'Donnell seconded the motion. Motion carried. Council Member <br />Stoltz abstained from voting. <br />There being no further business, Council Member O'Donnell moved to adjourn at 7:00 p.m. <br />Council Member Stoltz seconded the motion.
