CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION October 26, 2009 <br />DRAFT <br />46 A council member expressed concern about being asked to consider amendments to the <br />47 overall plan before the assisted living project is considered. Mr. Bengtson explained that <br />48 the proper process is being following in consideration of the fact that the property owner <br />49 has officially requested this change. <br />50 <br />51 A) Consideration of Resolution No. 09 -91, Authorizing Execution of <br />52 Professional Services Agreement with Bonestroo for Update of Official Controls — A <br />53 council member suggested that he'd like additional time to review the details of this <br />54 proposed agreement, especially in light of the $30,000 in budgeted funds involved. It was <br />55 suggested that staff present additional information on the request at the upcoming council <br />56 work session. <br />57 <br />58 8A. Letter of resignation received from Council Member Stoltz; Resolution No. <br />59 09 -96, Declaring a Vacancy on the City Council - Mayor Bergeson read a letter of <br />60 resignation submitted by Council Member Stoltz. The resignation is effective <br />61 immediately. <br />62 <br />63 The council announced their intention to accept the resignation at the upcoming meeting. <br />64 The city attorney will be asked to offer advice on how to proceed with the resignation and <br />65 vacancy process. <br />66 <br />67 The meeting was adjourned at 6:30 p.m. <br />68 <br />69 These minutes were considered, corrected and approved at the regular Council meeting held on <br />70 November 9, 2009. <br />71 <br />72 <br />73 <br />74 Julianne Bartell, City Clerk John Bergeson, Mayor <br />75 <br />2 <br />
