Ms. Gretz stated she was not familiar with a project that <br />had done that. She stated lighting was also a matter of security and crime prevention. <br />Mr. Smyser replied they would look into this because of the close proximity of residential <br />homes. <br />Ms. Lane stated she was not comfortable with this. She stated there were too many <br />unresolved issues. William Walton, 8140 — 20th Avenue, Conditional Use Permit <br />Staff stated Bill and Jean Walton had been operating a Petting Zoo, "Walton's Hollow," <br />for over ten years. The Waltons had traditionally trailered their animals to various <br />locations around the Twin Cities (nursing homes, senior centers, etc.). The Waltons, who <br />had moved with their animals from White Bear Lake to Lino Lakes in the past year, <br />would now also like to provide on -site visits to their farm on 20th Avenue and so are <br />asking for a Conditional Use Permit to allow such a use. <br />DRAFT MINUTES <br />
