• <br />• <br />Planning & Zoning Board <br />July 10, 2002 <br />Russian Baptist Church Site Plan Review & CUP <br />Since churches are listed as a Conditional Use in a Rural Zone, a Conditional Use Permit <br />has also been applied for. <br />The Russian Baptist Church currently has approximately 180 members. While the 2001 Plan is not yet officially <br />adopted, it does reflect the long -range goals of the community related to existing and <br />future land use. <br />Site Description <br />The site is a 4.6 -acre lot fronting Ash Street (County Road J). The northern half of the <br />property is wooded, with a wetland in the northwest quarter. The Southern half of the <br />property is largely open grassland. The west border of the property abuts the rear lot <br />lines of residential homes along Indian Hills Drive in Circle Pines. The northern border <br />abuts the back half of a property located on Baldwin Lake Road in Lino Lakes. The east <br />border of the property abuts the rear lot lines of three homes also along Baldwin Lake <br />Road, as well as a neighboring home on Ash Street. To the south, across Ash Street in <br />Shoreview, are residential homes. <br />
