He indicated this was a one -story building, and it was difficult to <br />conceal a one -story building with a berm, but by adding landscaping, this would be a <br />sufficient buffer. He stated there would be a 50 -foot setback to the residential district. <br />He stated the drain field location would be adjusted slightly to the east. <br />Mr. Lyden asked what the Comprehensive Plan said regarding land use for this property. <br />Ms. Gretz replied it was sewered residential. She stated they should not confuse zoning <br />with land use in this case. <br />Mr. Smyser stated when/if this property was to be rezoned for residential, the Church <br />would still be a conditional use in all of the residenti .1 zones as well. Mr. Lampert replied the neighbors had requested a landscaping <br />buffer instead of a fence. He stated at this time, they had not come up with a landscaping <br />plan, but they would submit it to staff for their approval. <br />Chair Schaps asked if they agreed to all of the recommendations of staff.
