ENVIRONMENTAL BOARD MEETING March 30, 2011 <br />DRAFT MINUTES 4 <br />The Environmental Board will have a table set up at Wargo with many <br />informational handouts for the public. <br /> <br />Paula Andrzejewski will have a table with material on rain gardens. <br /> <br />Mr. Asleson stated there will be a group 60 students from Centennial High School <br />who are coming to Lino Lakes City Hall on April 21 for cleanup of the area and <br />other related projects. <br /> <br />Recycle Day: Will take place on Saturday, May 7, from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at <br />1189 Main Street. <br /> <br />There will be absolutely NO propane tanks accepted. <br /> <br />Ms. Hogstad-Osterhues, City of Lino Lakes, will have information boards made <br />with Recycle Day information and see that the information is put on the City’s <br />reader board. She will also make a sign to put on the boulevard at the public <br />works building at 1189 Main Street <br /> <br />D. Community Gardens <br /> <br />Mr. Asleson stated the irrigation will be installed in April. He is in the process of <br />contracting the digging out. The garden should be complete by the end of April. <br /> <br />7. ADJOURN <br /> <br />It was noted that the next meeting of the Environmental Board will be on <br />Wednesday, April 27, 2011at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />There being no further business, Mr. Heiskary moved to adjourn at 8:15 p.m. Ms. <br />Andrzejewski seconded the motion.
