Pecchia <br />Public Safety Director / Chief of Police <br />Officer Mike Rumpsa <br />Lino Lakes Police Department <br />CPTED Reviews <br />01 -21 -03 <br />651 982 2499 P.02/03 <br />I have reviewed the plans for Living Waters Lutheran Church, Bills Rental Center and <br />Bargeman Properties. <br />Living Waters Lutheran Church; <br />• From a crime prevention stand point, I have only two comments for Living <br />Waters Church. I would like to see a plan for lighting and landscaping. <br />• The church has an abundant amount of natural surveillance, so tree/shrub <br />placement will be important to preserve that positive feature. <br />Bills Rental Center. <br />a. I am going to have see plans for Lighting and Landscaping before I am going to <br />be able to comment on this proposal. <br />• .Also, if the Rental center is going to have an alarm and video surveillance, I <br />would like to know what kind of equipment, and how complete of a system would <br />be implemented_ <br />Bruggeman Properties, <br />I have reviewed this property in the past, and have the same concerns that I did <br />then. <br />o Will the intersection of Hodgson/Birch be improved? Semaphores? <br />o Will NB Hodgson Rd have three lanes? With one dedicated to the <br />Bruggeman property. <br />o The exit/entrance on Birch Street will it be controlled via stop signs, and <br />will it have its own turn lane into the property? <br />o The traffic now appears to be directed around the office/daycare and QSR <br />space, but then is forced to go thru the retail building and C- store area. <br />o How will the future residential area tie into the property?
