• <br />• <br />more than six (6) feet above grade as defined herein for more than fifty (50) <br />percent of the total perimeter or is more than twelve (12) feet above grade as <br />defined herein at any point, such basement or unused under -floor space shall be <br />considered as a story. <br />Story, First. The lowest story in a building which qualifies as a story, as defined <br />herein, except that a floor level in a building having only one floor level shall be <br />classified as a first story, provided such floor level is not more than four (4) feet <br />below grade, as defined herein, for more than fifty (50) percent of the total <br />perimeter, or more than eight (8) feet below grade, as defined herein, at any <br />point. <br />Street. A right -of -way affording access by pedestrians and vehicles, whether <br />designated as a street, highway, thoroughfare, parkway, throughway, road, <br />avenue, boulevard, court, way, trail or however otherwise designated. Private, <br />ingress and egress easements shall not be considered streets. <br />Street, Cut -de -Sac. A local street, one end of which is dosed and consists of a <br />circular turn around. <br />Street, Collector. A street which collects traffic from local streets and connects <br />with minor and major arterials. A street designed to provide vehicular access to abutting property <br />and to discourage through traffic. A street with signals at important intersections and stop <br />signs on the side streets, and which collects and distributes traffic to and from <br />collector streets. Anything which is built, constructed or erected, an edifice or building <br />of any kind, or any piece of work artificially built up and /or composed of parts <br />joined together in some definite manner whether temporary or permanent in <br />character. <br />Structure Alteration.
