These uses include bus
garages, contractor shops, etc.
The LB district provides a median between the GB and the NB. For example, the LB does not
allow bus garages or contractor shops, but it does allow drive - through facilities and motor fuel
stations.
The question is whether concerns over specific uses are based on unavoidable aspects of those
uses, or if the concerns are based on elements that can be addressed through site and building
design. If redesigning the specific elements can resolve problems and avoid negative impacts,
the use itself can be acceptable. If concerns regarding specific uses cannot be overcome through
site and building design efforts, the zoning designation to be applied should not allow for those
uses.
ATTACHMENTS
Matrix of Allowable Uses In Business Districts
Concept Sketch
Site Plan
Individual Site Plans
