PLANNING DISTRICTS <br />a. Maintain Birch Street as a two lane major collector street between <br />Hodgson Road and 20th Avenue. Implement the following strategies to <br />avoid the need for street expansion: <br />(1) Restriction of direct site access onto CSAH 10. <br />(2) Intersection improvements to provide for safe turning movements. <br />(3) Restricting intermediate accesses to a right -in /right -out condition. <br />b. Maintain Hodgson Road and County Road J as "A" minor arterial streets. <br />With this functionalclassification, the right -of -way width and roadway <br />design should promote traffic movement and limit direct site access. <br />c. Establish collector street systems that will channel traffic out of <br />neighborhoods to the arterial streets. <br />d. Encourage local street connections between neighborhoods. <br />13.
