• <br />• <br />• <br />Temporary Signage <br />page 4 <br />TEMPORARY SIGNAGE should be allowed and regulated. <br />defined as: Any sign not permanently mounted or affixed to a building or to a <br />permanent sign. <br />BANNER <br />defined as: A temporary sign made of cloth, flexible plastic, or other fabric. <br />• 32 sf maximum size <br />?? is /is not included in normal sign area maximum ?? <br />• must be attached to a building <br />?? or a permanent sign ?? <br />• one month duration each time <br />• maximum number of times per year, to be determined <br />• permit required ?? cost ?? <br />• not in road right of way <br />PORTABLE SIGN <br />defined as: A temporary sign designed to be moved from one location to another. <br />• permit required: $25 <br />• maximum of four times a year for a total of fifteen days per time <br />• permit is needed for each time <br />• limited to special events or promotions <br />• not in road right of way <br />Further discussion on several definitions is needed. <br />Revisions possible for residential signs and commercial construction and real <br />estate signs. <br />Further discussion needed on window signs: should we address it or leave it <br />unregulated? Maybe if it's inside the building, leave it unregulated. <br />Enforcement and staffing must be addressed. <br />
