This
assumption was made in order to look at a worst -case scenario of operations at the main site
access. The results of the analysis showed that even with all site - generated traffic using the main
access, the access would operate at an acceptable level of service, with short delays and minimal
queuing.
Logically, traffic will tend to use the quickest route from its origin to its destination. Most of the
time, the quickest route (in terms of time) will also be the shortest route (in terms of distance).
However, in some cases, the choice of a longer route will save time.
Offices: Hibbing • Minnetonka Ham Lake - Twin Ports
(952) 933 -0972 61 10 Blue Circle Drive Suite 100 • Minnetonka, MN 55343 • FAX (952) 933-1153
Equal Opportunity Employer
