The landscape plan should show all seeded areas and the City native <br />• <br />seed mix shown the plant specifications text. <br />• The spillway area located on the plan may be inadequately sized and allow <br />siltation into the wetland. <br />• Water from impervious areas should be directed on to grassy areas instead of <br />down driveways and into storm sewers. <br />• The developer should loosen the soils in graded open space areas to restore <br />infiltration capacity. Top soils should be completely tilled as deeply as <br />possible. <br />• Look at other BMPS such as curb cuts and rain gardens along the street <br />scapes to provide a more integrated approach to surface water treatment <br />train <br />• The Developer has submitted a storm water pollution prevention plan. The <br />plan has most of the issues covered. The "Inspection and Maintenance <br />"notes section" should add that all inspection records and the SWPPP will be <br />maintained on the site in a designated location and available to inspectors at <br />all times. The developer must state where this location will be on the site. <br />Most convenient is a mailbox. The rock entrance described in the SWPPP <br />should be at least 50 feet long. The large scale map was unreadable. In <br />addition, it is suggested that additional stockpile of 1.5 inch rock be <br />maintained on the site to top dress the entrance when rock pore space is <br />filled. The City would prefer the Infrasafe Debris Collection Device (or a <br />suitable substitute) for storm sewer inlet protection. These must be used on <br />all constructed and existing storm water inlets. If there are anticipated <br />concerns with soil movement along Ware Road, these devices should be <br />used there. A street sweeping schedule should be submitted that is <br />acceptable to the City on all interior and exterior roads used for the project. <br />• Soils should not be imported or exported from this site without City approval. <br />Motion to recommend approval of this project with staff and Environmental Board <br />recommendations by O'Connell, second by Bor, all were in favor. <br />
