• <br />• <br />City of Lino Lakes Page 1 of 2 <br />Back to Web Site <br />City of Lino Lakes <br />Council Meeting Procedures <br />Council Meeting Procedures <br />The Lino Lakes City Council conducts regular meetings on the second and fourth <br />Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. The mayor is the presiding officer for the meeting. <br />The mayor and council members have a single vote. Council motions require a majority <br />vote for passage. <br />The Agenda <br />After roll call and setting the agenda, the city council will consider items such as <br />awards, proclamations, special recognitions etc. <br />The Consent Agenda <br />Routine administrative items are placed on the consent agenda. These items are not <br />discussed, and may be approved in their entirety pursuant to the recommendations on <br />staff reports. A council member or citizen may ask that an item be pulled from the <br />consent agenda for discussion. Items pulled will receive separate action. All items not <br />removed from the consent agenda will be approved by a single motion. <br />Open Mike <br />Open Mike gives members of the audience and opportunity to speak before the <br />council. When speaking, remember to be respectful and follow these guidelines: <br />The topic must relate to city business <br />The subject must not already be on the agenda <br />Limit your comments to 4 minutes <br />A spokesman must represent a group of 5 or more <br />The chair may limit duplicative presentations <br />State your name and address <br />Old Business <br />These items have been carried forward from a previous agenda.
