Section 2 Subds. 1. — 9. DRAFT AMENDMENTS May 2011 <br />Subd. 9. Enforcement and Penalties. <br />A. Administration and Enforcement. <br />This Ordinance shall be administered and enforced by the Zoning <br />Administrator who is appointed by the City Council. The Zoning <br />Administrator may institute in the name of the City of Lino Lakes any <br />appropriate actions or proceedings against a violator as provided by <br />statute, ordinance, or code. <br />2. If the provisions of this Ordinance are being violated, the City shall notify, <br />in writing, the person responsible for such violations, indicating the nature <br />of the violation and ordering the action necessary to correct it. The City <br />shall order discontinuance of illegal use of land, buildings or structures; <br />removal of illegal buildings or structures or of additions, alterations or <br />structural changes thereto; discontinuance of any illegal work being done; <br />or shall take any other action authorized by this Section to insure <br />compliance with or to prevent violation of its provisions. <br />B. Penalties, Violations, and Enforcement. In addition to the remedies set out in <br />the paragraph above, the City may enforce any provisions of this Ordinance by <br />mandamus, injunction, or any other appropriate remedy in any court of <br />competent jurisdiction. <br />Lino Lakes Zoning Ordinance Administration <br />Amended per Ord.
