Planning & Zoning Board <br />August 10, 2011 <br />Page 2 <br />V. ACTION ITEMS <br />A. CONSIDERATION OF a recommendation that the modified development <br />program for Develop. Dist. 1 and the modified TIF plan for TIF Dist. No. 1 -10 <br />is consistent with the plans for development of the city <br />Mary Alice Divine, Economic Development Coordinator, presented the staff report. Staff <br />recommended approval of Resolution No. 11 -01. <br />Mr. Tralle asked which direction the city is going with developing the Legacy project. <br />Staff responded that as developers come in, the city may need to consider flexibility with <br />future development requirements. The City continues to market this area, including <br />sending informational materials to developers. Staff added that there may be more <br />interest when the land becomes available for public sale. <br />Mr. Root made a MOTION to approve Resolution No. 11 -01, finding the modified <br />development program for Development District 1 and the modified TIF plan for TIF Dist. <br />No 1 -10 is consistent with the plans for development of the City. <br />Motion was supported by Mr. Pogalz. Motion carried 5 - 0. <br />B. CONTINUED PUBLIC HEARING to consider Amending Section 6 of the <br />Zoning Ordinance which includes requirements for residential zoning districts <br />City Planner, Jeff Smyser, presented the staff report. Staff recommended approval of the <br />Zoning Ordinance Amendment. <br />Chair Tralle declared the Public Hearing open at 7:00 p.m. <br />There was no one present to speak. <br />Mr,, Pogalz made a MOTION to close the Public Hearing at 7:01 p.m. Motion was <br />supported by Mr. Hyden. Motion carried 5 - 0. <br />Mr. Pogalz made a MOTION to recommend approval of Amending Section 6 of the <br />Zoning Ordinance which includes requirements for residential zoning districts as <br />presented in the staff report. <br />Motion was supported by Mr. Evenson. Motion carried 5 - 0. <br />C.
