• <br />• <br />8 Responses <br />1 The panelists were very blunt about the state of development, which the <br />council needed to hear. <br />2 We keep hearing the same things from multiple sources so hopefully Lino <br />can begin taking positive action. I came away with the thought that lets <br />develop and vision based on the reality of who we are - a bedroom <br />community in a park. Lets be the best possible place for parks, sports <br />complexes, walking paths and park preserves. Maybe that will be an <br />attraction for various types of developments. <br />3 I thought the demographic slides less than effective. Too much information <br />was crowded onto the slides. Often one slide present two separate <br />conclusion, which left the audience confused. Final I asked a couple of <br />questions prior to the panel discussion. I'm not sure if my question were <br />answered. Perhaps the moderator should be tasked with writing down <br />questions and circling back to them at the end of the evening <br />4 If what we were told is the new normal then I guess people in Lino Lakes <br />must be living the new alternative lifestyle. <br />5 Lumping all gen x and gen y's into broad categories does not work. <br />6 Nice to get together with the other boards. would have been nice to <br />discuss where Lino Lakes is currently and do some goal setting and <br />direction. Whats being done to market or attract business? <br />7 It was good to hear how the model for developing has changed.
