•
•
AGENDA ITEM 8.B.ii
STAFF ORIGINATOR: Paul Bengtson
P & Z MEETING DATE: March 11, 2009
TOPIC: 2030 Comprehensive Plan
Jurisdictional Review Comments
On November 10, 2008 the City Council approved distribution of the draft 2030
Comprehensive Plan with Resolution Number 08 -131. Copies of the draft plan were sent
out to the surrounding jurisdictions on November 14, 2008. Each entity has six months
to respond to the City of Lino Lakes with any comments. While the full time period has
not yet expired, a majority of the jurisdictions have responded and it is appropriate to
review those comments at this time.
Staff has completed an initial review of the comments and assigned any necessary
corrections to the appropriate consultant or staff member. To track the necessary work,
staff created a spreadsheet of the comments and the recommended changes. I have
manipulated this spreadsheet further in an effort to provide a summary of all comments
we have received for review by the Planning and Zoning Board and City Council. An
abbreviated version of the spreadsheet's format is shown below.
