Mr. Palke stated there is not a back up plan and they would have to shut down <br />for the day if there is a problem. <br />Mr. Schilling asked about the addition of additives and hours of operation. Mr. Palke <br />indicated the additives used are required. There will be no danger to the environment. <br />The working hours will be approximately 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. <br />Mr. Schilling expressed concern regarding the clean up issue and asked that it be <br />addressed. <br />Mr. Rafferty asked if the main entrance and exit to the site will be through the Tagg <br />property. Mr. Palke advised the entrance for the raw material will be through the Tagg <br />site. It is anticipated that access will be put through the freeway fence for the north bound <br />lane. <br />Chair Schaps asked about the number of raw loads p ay. Mr. Palke advised raw <br />materials would be hauled before operation. The of loads will try to be <br />minimized. Motion carried 7 -0. <br />Ms. Lane made a MOTION to approve Interim Use Permit for Temporary Concrete Batch <br />Plan based on the following conditions: <br />1. The City adopt Ordinance No. xx — 2000 adding Temporary Concrete Batch <br />Plant as an Interim Use to the Limited Business Zoning District. <br />2. The Batch Plant shall be located as far west as possible to avoid negative <br />impacts on the wetlands at the eastern edge of the Tagg property. <br />3. Hours of operation shall not be subject to the restrictions of Ordinance No. 04 <br />— 96 due to the nature of this project. <br />• 4. Should access to the freeway occur directly from the Tagg property, location <br />and site grading shall be reviewed and approved by the City Engineer. <br />
