DISTRICT BOUNDARY CHANGES <br />Delineation of Residential Districts. <br />The Illustrative and Land Use Plans call for three Residential Districts within the Town Center. <br />Standards in this chapter pertain to residential uses in the Residential Districts. Residential uses are <br />also permitted within Mixed -Use Districts, where Mixed Use Standards apply. <br />The extent of the Residential Districts may be modified based on detailed surveys of natural re- <br />sources, and subject to the review and approval of the Director of Planning. <br />Redesignation of Residential Districts. <br />Landowners may apply to redesignate all or portion of a Residential District as a Mixed -Use Dis- <br />trict, provided that: <br />• Landowners provide within this and /or other Mixed -Use District a number of residential units <br />consistent with the minimum and maximum densities that would have been applied to the <br />District redesignated (see Table 6 below), <br />• The open space provided is equivalent to that originally required (see the standards for Pub- <br />licly- Accessible Commons below), and <br />• The area originally designated as a Residential District be left undeveloped until the required <br />residential units are constructed within the Mixed -Use Districts, thereby ensuring the inclusion <br />of residential uses within the Town Center. <br />6.2.
