•
•
• the landowner /developer is interested in looking at options for natural resource conservation
in a subdivision design and management and is willing to work with DN IZ/MLT in exploring
conceptual design options;
• the landowner /developer and/or city will provide an adequate scaled survey or basemap for
the subdivision study site (preferably with 2' contour intervals);
• the landowner /developer will provide funds for and/or have conducted a reasonably detailed
natural resource inventory of the subdivision study site (this would build on the land cover
mapping done by this project, and would preferably also include location and inventory of
any rare, endangered, or threatened specie as well as significant trees and wetland
delineation);
• the landowner /developer will allow the DNR/MLT access to the site for natural resource
assessment and planning purposes;
• the city and landowner /developer understand that the conceptual designs generated through
this project would not substitute for the professional engineering and design work that the
developer would need in order to meet the city's subdivision requirements or for project
implementation purposes; and
• the city and /or landowner /developer will try to share the results of this project with any future
planners, owners, managers, etc of the subdivision study site.
