Planning & Zoning Board <br />January 10, 2007 <br />Page 4 <br />Chair Tralle thanked the city's consultant Caroline Krall and city staff for all the work <br />they have done. <br />VI. DISCUSSION ITEMS <br />A. 2006 P &Z Action Year End Review <br />Mr. Smyser stated that city staff provided them with a list of applications the Board <br />considered and their votes taken in 2006. <br />B. 2006 Growth <br />Mr. Smyser distributed to the board some data on the number of building permits that <br />were issued in 2006, noting that 89 building permits were issued. Mr. Smyser provided <br />comparisons to the annual average. He included the number of lots that were approved <br />for development broken down by year. He pointed out that the city allocated only 13 <br />acres of MUSA reserve out of a possible 36 acres. Mr. Smyser explained that there were <br />more units built than approved because some units had been approved in previous years. <br />Chair and Board Members thanked the Woodridge neighborhood residents for attending <br />the meeting, reminding them that it is important to stay involved and attend future <br />meetings, and considered their involvement huge and asked them to continue. <br />VII. ADJOURNMENT <br />Mr. Pogalz made a MOTION to adjourn the meeting at 7:24 p.m. Motion was supported <br />by Mr. Rafferty.
