• <br />• <br />• <br />(a) Volume credit will be given only for area protected in <br />perpetuity by recorded covenants in favor of the District. <br />(b) Volume credit will be given only for area contiguous with a <br />Wetland Preservation Corridor OR area of at least 0.5 acres not <br />contiguous with the Wetland Preservation Corridor. <br />(c) Volume credit will be given only for buffer area in excess of <br />the minimum requirements of paragraph 7(c). <br />(iii) Restoration of Degraded Wetland - Restoring hydrology and <br />native vegetative cover to a partially drained wetland. <br />(a) No excavation is permitted; limited scraping is allowed. <br />(b) No credit will be given for open water wetland. <br />(c) Wetland treatment systems required to meet paragraph <br />8(b)(i) do not qualify for this credit. <br />(iv) Impervious Disconnection - Spreading of runoff from small <br />parking Tots, courtyards, driveways, sidewalks and other <br />impervious surfaces into adjacent pervious areas where it is <br />filtered or infiltrated to promote volume reduction. <br />(a)The contributing flow path from impervious cover must not <br />exceed 75 feet. <br />(b) In all cases, the disconnection length must exceed the <br />contributing flow path. <br />(c) Pervious area used for disconnection must have a slope no <br />greater than five percent. <br />(d) The total surface impervious area contributing to a single <br />discharge point shall not exceed 1,000 ft2 and shall drain <br />RCWD Proposed Rule RMP -3 25 <br />October 8, 2008 <br />
