Mr. Asleson stated landowner cooperation, cost share funds from Anoka County and State of Minnesota. Mr. Asleson stated we don't have a stormwater utility fund at this time. Ms. Bor questioned if there would be a tax break. Mr. Zwonitzer stated there is cost share available up to $5,000. Ms. Bor questioned if this is a collaboration with the Rice Creek Watershed District. Mr. Zwonitzer stated yes. Mr. Brown questioned if residents could use pavers for their driveways. Mr. Zwonitzer stated yes, but a very expensive option. The cost is $20 -$25 per square foot. Mr. Zwonitzer stated if a resident was redoing their driveway, they could install a trench grate which is flush with the new asphalt driveway and a rain garden connected to that. Mr. Asleson stated if Mr. Zwonitzer would come back when this project is further along. Mr. Zwonitzer yes. B. Updates Recycle Bank Mr. Asleson received information from Allied Waste regarding a RecycleBank program. He reviewed the information with the board. Ms. O'Dea questioned if this program is exclusive with Allied Waste. Mr. Asleson state, at this time it is. Earth Day Mr. Asleson stated Earth Day will be celebrated on April 18. Wargo Nature Center will be open to the public from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. There will not be a lunch or a petting zoo for volunteers this year. 3 DRAFT MINUTES
