ENVIRONMENTAL BOARD MEETING FEBRUARY 25, 2009 <br />Ms. Bor requested we look into purchasing new, brighter shirts this year for Earth <br />Day and Blue Heron Days clean-up. Mr. Asleson stated he would look into this. <br />Heron Task Force <br />Mr. Asleson stated there is an upcoming Heron Task Force meeting on February <br />26. <br />Water Resources Workshops Schedule <br />Shoreland Management — March 30, 2009: Mr. Brown will attend. <br />Landscaping for Wildlife — April 18, 2009: Mr. Bor will attend. <br />Water -Smart Landscaping — April 21, 2009: Martha DeHaven will attend. <br />Raingardens — May 2, 2009: Martha DeHaven and Pam Hartley will attend. <br />Additional Item: Environmental Board Meeting <br />Ms. Bor questioned if the Environmental Board does not have a regularly <br />scheduled meeting, would it be okay to get together and talk about newsletter <br />articles or discuss topics in depth without there being a violation of having a <br />quorum. Ms. Hogstad stated she would find out from the Administration <br />Department and let board members know. <br />7. ADJOURN <br />It was noted that the next meeting of the Environmental Board will be on March <br />25, 2008. <br />There being no further business, Ms. Hartley moved to adjourn at 7:55 p.m. Ms. <br />DeHaven seconded the motion.
