Mr. Asleson is
inquiring if he can move the grant to 2014.
Mr. Asleson stated that the goal for the year is 1819 tons and the first half of the year we
are already at 1026. He also mentioned that the monthly recycling may have been doing
just as well as the annual one in May.
Ms. Klebba stated that American Recycles Day will be coming up. Ms. O'Dea mention
lets tie in the monthly recycle day with the America Recycles Day which is November
15, 2013. Ms. Morin will call and see if a newspaper article could be done about
recycling.
Mr. Asleson mentioned that the recycling cans at parks are doing good- more fund raising
for the parks and that the tubs for recycling cans are almost full.
E. The
resident thought that the lighting was too bright. Mr. Asleson said that he would pass the
information on to the Planning and Zoning Department. But he knew that the lighting
calculation is standard.
Ms. Bor had a concern about Birch & Centerville road. Too many semis are parked in
the yard at Cardinal property. Mr. Asleson thought that maybe a dialogue with the
owners would help. Ms. O'Dea stated that they always had some semis parked there for
years. Mr. Asleson stated he would let the Planning and Zoning Department know of this
concern.
Ms. Morin brought up the semi storage at Lake Drive and Elm Street and Mr. Asleson
mentioned that is also a Planning and Zoning Department item and that the department is
dealing with it.
DRAFT MINUTES
