Our spring session programs are scheduled to start in early April.
Registration is currently underway for the spring programs and the numbers
look strong. Registration is also underway for many summer instructional
programs and the numbers look even stronger. We will be looking into the
possibility of accommodating additional programs; however, the determining
factor will be space availability.
Field Trips: Two of our five scheduled trips will be held over spring break - Grand Slam and Bowling at Flaherty's. The
other three were cancelled due to low registration.
T -Ball: The T -Ball sessions are filling up fast. If history repeats itself, these classes will be filled before the summer
brochure is mailed out to homes.
Tennis: We revised our summer tennis lesson schedule to accommodate more participation. In addition, it is felt the
new schedule will allow more flexibility for parents regarding lesson schedules.
Lacrosse: We are excited about entering into a consortium for a youth lacrosse league. The other members of this
lipue are Blaine and Andover. Registration is currently being accepted for this league.
ffdatt
Softball: Adult softball is up from 38 teams to the present level of 42 teams. The program can accommodate a
maximum of 44 teams. This is the earliest this league has had this many teams in recent memory.
Community Outings: We will be having a group attend a Mystery Tour on March 25. The group will not know where they
are going until they get there. All they know is that it will be fun and a learning experience. Our next outing, The Jumpin'
Jehoshaphats at Grampa's Garage, is scheduled for April 14.
ke6reati - Raudeor, 444 Pap & fm,,olopneAt
Recreation Review: Work has just started on our summer edition of the Recreation Review. It is scheduled to be in
homes the last week of May.
Web Page: Check out our web page at www.ci.lino- lakes.mn.us.
Employment: We are actively and aggressively pursing employees to fill our spring and
summer employment opportunities. We anticipate filling all positions by mid to late April.
Questions? Please call Liz Bursack or Barry Bernstein at 651- 982 -2440.
