Maintenance performed during a, very busy August and September has included: • Weekly mowing of all turf areas. Athletic fields are growing like crazy and are getting cut twice weekly. Trim mowing and weed whipping have been neglected due to being short handed since our seasonals left. I hope to be caught up by the end of next week, please bear with us. ■ Weekly garbage pickup. Again we are not getting to everything weekly, but hope to be back on schedule by the end of next week. • Soccer and football field layout. Layout, line cut -ins and painting of 12 game and 5 practice soccer fields and 3 game fields for football. • Athletic field preparation: Softball fields — Three or four fields are being game prepped on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Fair /foul lines are being cut -in and painted weekly. Soccer — 12 game fields and 5 practice fields. Weekly maintenance includes line cut -ins, painting as needed, and checking nets and anchors. Football — Three game fields. Maintenance includes weekly line cut -ins and painting as needed. • Athletic field improvements. Sodded three wear areas at CMS #5 (center circle area) and CMS #7 (2 soccer goal mouth areas). • Clearwater Creek Park. • Installed park sign. Sod cut and mulched all trees and shrub beds. ■ Highland Meadows Park. Worked with girl scouts on entrance sign project. Project consisted of: Site preparation. (staff)
