As a result, we are
leaving excess clippings in some areas.
• Weekly garbage collection at all parks and park shelters.
• Daily athletic field preparation — we are averaging over 10 ball field game preps per
day Monday thru Thursday. Also weekly line cut -ins and painting.
• Completed playground inspections and repairs. Vandalized playgrounds that were
repaired included:
o Highland Meadows Park — repaired floating balance beam.
o Lino Park — replaced damaged crawl tube section and repaired tire swing.
o Birchwood Acres, Behms and Birch Park — removed graffiti.
• Repaired damaged picnic tables.
• Repaired stage at Sunrise Park.
• Poured concrete pads and installed bike racks at Lino Park and Town Center.
• Equipment maintenance and repair as needed.
• Sherman Lake Road Trail — installed 72' of retaining wall (48' on west side, 24' on
east side) where culverts cross trail to prevent washout of trail. Removed Buckthorn
from trail edges to improve visibility.
• Repaired boardwalk behind homes on Stagecoach Trail 20' of railing had been
vandalized.
• Party wagon deliveries and pickups.
• Broadleaf week control to soccer fields at CMS and RLE.
• Aerified soccer fields at CMS and RLE.
