8. New Business <br />A. Follow -Up on I -35E Development, Mr. Frederickson <br />(Member Frederickson expressed his concerns with this project. After <br />discussion he was told that when the developer brings in his site plans, for <br />City staff to review, the advisory boards will again have an opportunity to <br />comment on them.) <br />B. Revisit Issue of Former Rice Lake Estates Park, Mr. Frederickson <br />(Aaron Frederickson expressed his concerns about the old playground <br />equipment being taken out. Other Park Board Members thought Circle <br />Pines did a good job in reconstructing the park. Rick told him additional <br />work will be done in 2007 and the City of Circle Pines has fulfilled their <br />obligation pertaining to the Rice Lake Estates Park situation.) <br />C. Anoka County Trail Map <br />(A map was included in members packets. Rick advised members that <br />additional maps are available at city hall for no charge.) <br />D. Super Rink Skating Passes <br />(Rick discussed the memo included in the packet. He told members the Park <br />Department had received 216 passes and they were all gone.) <br />E. Determine 2007 Park Board Schedule <br />(There was discussion of the three meetings that would need to be held on <br />different days other than the 1st Monday of the month. Paul Montain made a <br />motion to approve the meeting schedule included in the packet. Seconded by <br />Pam Taschuk and approved by the board.) <br />9. Recreation Department Update <br />(Rick reviewed some of the programs listed in the update and answered board <br />members questions.) <br />10. Parks Department Update <br />(Rick suggested that members read the update included in the packet. He touched <br />on preparing the irrigation systems and equipment for the winter season.) <br />11. Discuss Possible 2007 Park Board Goals <br />(The Park Board started discussion about the 2007 goals and will continue <br />discussion at future meetings.) <br />12. Next Park Board Meeting <br />(The next Park Board Meeting will be Monday, December 4, 2006, 6:30p.m.) <br />13. Adjourn <br />(Pam Taschuk made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Bill Kusterman.
