Lino Lakes Public Ser-vfces Department 600 Town Center Parkway Lino Lakes, MN 55014 (651) 982 -2440 Fax (651) 982 -2439 www.ci.lino- lakes.mn.us January 8, 2007 Dear Lino Park Area Residents: As part of the approved 2007 Park Board Goals, the City of Lino Lakes is in the process of re- master planning Lino Park, located at 7850 Lake Drive. The city has retained Brauer and Associates, Ltd. for this purpose. The city has worked extensively with Brauer and Associates, Ltd. on several master planning projects as well as the recently adopted Park, Natural Open Space \Greenways and Trail System Plan. The master planning process will consist of two meetings in which the general public is invited. The first meeting will be held on Monday, February 5, 2007 at 6:30pm at Lino Lakes City Hall (600 Town Center Parkway). The purpose of this meeting will be to review potential program elements for Lino Park and to review some conceptual designs to determine which elements and design are most appropriate to include in the master plan for some more immediate park improvements. The second meeting is scheduled for Monday, March 5, 2007 at 6:30pm at Lino Lakes City Hall. The purpose of this meeting will be to review and comment on the preliminary master plan(s). The final step of the master planning process is to formalize the final master plan and present it to the City Council for approval. All area residents are strongly encouraged to provide input throughout this master planning process to allow for a successful planning outcome.
