City staff will coordinate their needs <br />with the use of CMS Field 5. <br />This is the same allocation of fields that was used for the 2006 <br />season. Rick included a memo requesting participation <br />information from Centennial Soccer dated January 10, 2007. He <br />also provided Centennial Soccer Club's response dated January 29, <br />2007. Rick told members that he invited Mr. Jay Peterson, <br />President of CSC to attend the Park Board Meeting. <br />Jay Peterson and Doug Porter came before the Board to discuss the <br />use of fields for 2007. They thanked the Board and staff for the <br />fields allocated to them for 2007. Mr. Peterson said they also <br />appreciate all the hard work the maintenance crew does on the <br />grounds. <br />Rick told Mr. Peterson that he was impressed with the amount of <br />work he put into keeping track of the participation numbers. He <br />appreciated getting the numbers from the association. <br />Members wanted to know who provided the equipment for lacrosse. <br />Rick said the participants provide their own equipment not the <br />league. Members also wanted to know if Sunset Oaks Park was <br />irrigated and if not could it be? Rick told them no because <br />there wasn't a water main in the area. <br />NEW BUSINESS: <br />Updated Roster: <br />New updated rosters were distributed to the members. <br />Updated Park Grids: <br />Rick told members that it had been a couple of years since the <br />grid had been updated so an updated copy was included in the <br />packets for them. <br />Appoint Comprehensive Plan Advisory Panel Members: <br />Mr. DeGardner told the Board that the city is beginning its 2008 <br />Comprehensive Plan Update Process.
