He said <br />the overall attendance of the program dropped from 342 in 2005 to <br />272 in 2006. <br />Rick told members that partial funding of the Summer Playground <br />Program has been reinstated in the 2007 Budget. <br />Rick said that listed below is the proposed playground <br />description and format for the upcoming summer season. This is <br />the same format as the 2005 program. <br />Join us at the playgrounds for some sensational summer fun! Theme <br />weeks, arts -n- crafts, specialists and games are just some of the <br />fun things we'll do this summer. Program will conclude with a <br />special party at your park. 7 weeks. Min /Max: 20/50. Register by <br />June 11. Members told Rick that they hoped the <br />funding and program structure is not going to fluctuate from year <br />to year. <br />OLD BUSINESS: <br />a. Comprehensive Plan "Kick -Off" Meeting - March 7: <br />Rick said, as mentioned at last month's Park Board meeting, the <br />Lino Lakes City Council and its Citizen Advisory Boards will kick <br />off the city's comprehensive planning process on Wednesday, March <br />7, from 6:30 - 8:30pm at Chomonix Golf Course. He said <br />information pertaining to the city's recently completed 2030 <br />Vision Plan and the collaboration between the City and the Rice <br />Creek Watershed District to integrate resource management into <br />the Comprehensive Plan will be reviewed and discussed. Kathi <br />Gallup and Pat Huelman volunteered to be on the Comprehensive <br />Plan Advisory Panel representing the Park Board. However, Rick <br />said all Citizen Advisory Board members were invited to attend <br />this "Kick -off" meeting. Park Board members are hoping that <br />2 <br />
