Mowers have been thoroughly cleaned, serviced and stored for <br />the winter or had mowers removed and winter attachments installed. <br />• Final garbage collection until spring. All cans have been emptied throughout the park <br />system. <br />• Completed irrigation system blowouts. <br />• Equipment winterization and winter equipment preparation. In addition to the mowers <br />mentioned earlier, a lot of other equipment needs to be winterized and stored or prepped <br />for winter use. Our JD 6410 gets a plow hung on it in the winter and is used to clear <br />parking lots and plow cul -de -sacs. Our JD 5525 gets an 8' angle broom attached to it and <br />is used to sweep sidewalks and hockey rinks. All plows and snow blowers are hooked up <br />and run prior to the first snow to ensure everything is operating properly. <br />• Assist Recreation Department with Family Turkey Shoot and moving supplies from <br />Town Center to Marshan storage building. <br />• Assisted Streets Department with tree removal along Pine Street. <br />• Delivered and spread approximately 60 cubic yards of rec -step to Clearwater Creek Park <br />tot lot. <br />• Removed dock from Country Lakes Park. <br />• Graffiti removed from Brandywood Park playground. <br />• Athletic field projects: <br />- top dressed and over - seeded wear areas on football and soccer fields <br />- spread ballfield Red Rock to infields on Sunrise #1 and #2. <br />• Heavy Duty Attachment Rack installed (48'L x 8 1/2' H x 4' W) inside our outdoor <br />storage yard. The rack holds approximately 18 skid steer and tractor attachments and all <br />are easily accessible. In the past you would sometimes have to move 2 -3 attachments to <br />get to the one you needed. The rack will keep things much more organized and allow us <br />to hook up much faster. <br />• Pheasant Hills Trail Update — much has happened here since last month's update. Tree <br />and brush clearing has been completed. Stumps along the proposed trail route were <br />removed. The abandoned section of trail was milled on site with the millings being used <br />as base material for the new trail. A geotextile fabric was placed under the base material <br />to help stabilize the trail. Additional loads of crushed limerock were hauled in for base <br />material. The trail has been graded and compacted. All disturbed areas have been <br />
