Park Board Meeting — January 7, 2008 <br />Minutes <br />• the existing trail along Otter Lake Road to the existing trail at Elmcrest (City of Hugo <br />Trail System) based on figures staff would submit to the Park Board. Seconded by <br />Pam Taschuk and approved. <br />• <br />• <br />Pat told the Park Board that the Friends of the Park Foundation is disbanding and a <br />donation of a few thousand dollars will be given to the Parks Department for future <br />project(s). <br />New Business: <br />10a. 2008 Park Board Vacancies: <br />Rick took the opportunity to express his appreciation to the outgoing Park Board <br />Members for their service to the City of Lino Lakes. <br />Mr. Paul Montain has been a Park Board Member since 1996 and has provided city <br />staff and Board Members with a wealth of history and knowledge that has been <br />beneficial during his tenure. <br />Mrs. Katie Boyle served on the Park Board since 2002 and provided her knowledge and <br />a fair perspective on the recent development of the city's parks and trail system. <br />Mrs. Kathi Gallup is vacating her current Park Board position due to her recent election <br />to the City Council. Congratulations Kathi! <br />He said the city is accepting applicants for all advisory board vacancies until January <br />14, 2008.
