• Council Member introduced the following resolution <br />and moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 03 - 08 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES (DNR) GRANT <br />FOR SNOWMOBILE EQUIPMENT AND /OR OVERTIME FUNDING PROJECTS <br />ENFORCEMENT <br />Be it resolved that the City of Lino Lakes enter into a grant <br />agreement with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources <br />(DNR) for the project entitled Snowmobile Safety Enforcement <br />during the winter period of 2002 -2003. <br />The Public Safety Director /Chief of Police is hereby authorized <br />to execute such agreements and amendments, as are necessary to <br />implement the project on behalf of the City of Lino Lakes and to <br />be the fiscal agent and administer the grant. <br />I certify that the above resolution was adopted by the City <br />Council of the City of Lino Lakes on January 13, 2003. <br />WHEREAS, the monies will be appropriated to the General Fund in <br />the following manner: <br />Increase Police Revenue $1500.00 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Lino Lakes City Council <br />members, approve Resolution No. 03 - 08. <br />John Bergeson, Mayor <br />Ann Blair, City Clerk <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Council Member and upon vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />The following voted against same: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
