• <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 13 -03 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY CHARTER TO REFLECT THE <br />LANGUAGE CHANGE FROM CITY "CLERK/TREASURER" TO THE <br />SEPARATE ROLES OF THE CITY CLERK AND THE CITY TREASURER <br />WHEREAS, the Charter Commission of the City of Lino Lakes has by <br />Resolution on January 9, 2003 recommended these changes; and <br />WHEREAS, a joint meeting of the Charter Commission and the City Council of <br />Lino Lakes was held on April 10, 2003 and the members of both bodies concurred with <br />these changes; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council approved first reading of this Ordinance on April <br />28, 2003; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF LINO LAKES ORDAINS: <br />This is a summary of Ordinance No. 13 -03, the purpose of which is to clarify the <br />language of the Charter to formally recognize that the position which was formerly <br />known as the "City Clerk/Treasurer" has been renamed, and for some time has <br />been known separately as the "City Clerk" and where needed, the "City <br />Treasurer."
