1-8 <br />411 Council Member introduced the following resolution <br />and moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 03 - 206 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION FROM TURTLEMAN TRIATHLON FOR <br />EQUIPMENT FOR THE RESERVE PROGRAM <br />WHEREAS, the Turtleman Triathlon sponsors a bike race that <br />utilizes the roadways within the City of Lino Lakes; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />the Lino Lakes Reserve Officer Unit provides traffic <br />control during the event; and <br />the Turtleman Triathlon has donated $2,000 to the city <br />in appreciation and thanks to the dedicated Reserve <br />Officers who volunteer their services to assist with <br />this event; and <br />WHEREAS, the monies will be appropriated to the General Fund in <br />the following manner: <br />Increase Police Revenue $2000.00 <br />(101- 420 -4214 -000 Crime Prevention) <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Lino Lakes City Council <br />members, do hereby accept the donation.of $2,000 and wishes to <br />express its gratitude to Turtleman Triathlon for the donation. <br />John Bergeson, Mayor <br />Ann Blair, City Clerk <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 24th day of November, <br />2003. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Council Member and upon vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />The following voted against same: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
