Planning & Zoning Board <br />February 9, 2000 <br />Page 6 <br />2. Adequate parking must continue to be available. Parking shall be reviewed <br />annually by City Staff to assure adequate capacity for continued use of the facility <br />by the Church. If parking becomes inadequate due to growth in Church <br />membership, the City may require the Church to relocate. The City shall establish <br />a reasonable amount of time for the Church to do so. <br />3. The Church will be allowed a temporary sign, to be placed no more than 24 hours <br />prior to events and removed one hour following events. The sign size and other <br />characteristics shall meet with the requirements of the City's Sign Ordinance (no <br />flashing beacons). Tom & R raver, 6750 West Shadow Lake Road, Variance <br />Staff advised Tom an Roxanne Traver have requested a variance to allow construction <br />of a single - family home at 6750 West Shadow Lake Drive within one hundred feet of the <br />Ordinary High Water Level (OHW) of Reshanau Lake. The property is zoned Rural but <br />considered a pre- existing non- confoiming lot of record as it was platted in 1982 prior to <br />adoption of the 10 -acre minimum requirement for rural lots and adoption of the <br />Shoreland Ordinance. The applicant has agreed to construct the house at the 30 -foot front <br />setback line and 20 feet from the side setback line but a variance of 16 feet to 27 feet into <br />the 75' setback from the OHW is being requested. <br />Staff presented the required findings and criteria to consider approval of a variance and <br />recommended approval based on findings and conditions indicated in the staff report. <br />• <br />• <br />• <br />
