• <br />Planning & Zoning Board <br />February 9, 2000 <br />Page 5 <br />Mr. Rafferty asked if neighbors objected to the proposed use. Mr. Smyser stated that <br />residents within 350 feet were notified and no comments were received. He advised that <br />services have already been held at this site because they did not know of the need for a <br />CUP and no complaints have been received. <br />Mr. Rafferty stated he does not believe there are 40 parking stalls in front of this building <br />and asked if there are additional parking stalls in the maintenance area. Mr. Smyser used <br />a diagram to advise of the locations of parking. He estimated there are 60 parking stalls <br />on the site and stated that staff will keep an eye on the parking situation in case a problem <br />were to arise. <br />Mr. Corson noted that a sign permit is being required and asked what that would entail. <br />Mr. Smyser advised that a sign permit is required for a temporary sign such as this and <br />the duration of the permit would be for a period of time, such as a year. <br />Chair Schaps asked if the intent is to lease to the Church fo <br />Smyser explained that lease has not yet been negotiate <br />intent. Chair Schaps asked if the City is concerned a <br />several times a week. He stated that once they grow beyond <br />this facility, they hope to construct their own building. <br />Ms. Lane made a MOTION to close the public hearing at 7:13 p.m., and was supported <br />by Mr. Rafferty. Motion carried 6 -0. <br />Mr. Johnson made a MOTION to approve the Conditional Use Permit for Shiloh Church <br />based on findings as indicated and on the following conditions: <br />• 1. Shiloh Church shall enter into a facility use agreement with the Lino Lakes <br />Seniors subject to the Seniors' lease with the City. <br />
